I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and Hanukkah! I had another enjoyable Christmas festivities with my loved ones! It takes a lot of effort and time to put this all together, but I enjoy it.

My version ‘Herring under a Fur Coat Salad” (Seledka pod Shuboy)

Christmas Caprese Wreath Salad

HOW TO MAKE Christmas Caprese Wreath Salad
Ingredients:
- Cherry tomatoes
- Cucumbers
- Fresh Mozzarella Pearls
- Basil
Basil Pesto dressing
- basil leaves
- garlic
- raw pine nuts
- grated Parmesan cheese
- extra-virgin olive oil
- lemon juice
- salt and pepper, to taste
Pulse the basil, pine nuts (leave a few to add later), cheese, and garlic together in a food processor or blender. Transfer to a small bowl. Add olive oil, lemon juice, and salt/pepper to taste.

HOW TO MAKE Pierogies with 3 types of mushrooms and onions
Ingredients:
- Mrs.Ts Potato and Onion Pierogi
- Red bell pepper, sliced
- Onion, sliced
- Baby portabella mushrooms, sliced
- dill weed, or fresh dill
Instructions:
Cook Pierogies according to instructions on the package, less 1 to 2 minutes.
Saute onion in light olive oil/butter, then add mushrooms and bell pepper. Salt/pepper to taste.
Add cooked pierogies to the skillet and saute with veggies for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh dill or dill weed.

Dulce de Leche Waffle cake with Chocolate and walnuts on top
Combine cooked condensed milk, ½ stick softened butter, and 1 tsp lemon juice.
Beat them at high speed for 3 minutes. But, I’ve used 2 Tbsp. butter and warmed up the condensed milk in the microwave until it was easier to work with.
Melt chocolate in the microwave and spread the top layer. Add walnuts on top, plate, and something heavy on top of it for a couple of hours. Then you can serve or make it a night before, wrap it in plastic, and put it in the fridge.
