Banana Chocolate Swirl Cake

  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. Yogurt
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 3 Large very ripe Bananas, mashed
  • 1 Cup Flour and ½ Cup Corn Starch (or use 1½ Cup Flour)
  • 1 Tsp. Baking powder
  • ½ Tsp. Baking soda
  • 4 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate bar, melted
  • ½ Cup Nuts, chopped (optional)
  1. Blend together: eggs, sugar, butter, yogurt, vanilla extract and mashed bananas.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, corn starch, baking powder and baking soda.
  3. Mix dry and wet ingredients together.
  4. Spray the baking pan with Non-Stick cooking spray. Pour prepared batter.
  5. Swirl melted chocolate on top and add nuts (optional).
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F, then reduce to 350°F during baking.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 40 minutes(time depends on your oven and your baking dish.
  8. Do not Overbake!) Mine was ready in 30 min.
