Lamb Leg Roast Steaks are super easy to make as you can see in the video. They make a wonderful meal paired with mashed potatoes.

 Australian Lamb Leg Roast Steaks

I’ve decided since it’s a pretty large piece of meat: “Why not make both?”.

I’ve marinated half of lamb roast and sliced the rest into steaks that I’ve seared on cast iron skillet!

MARINATE THE ROAST

  • Olive Oil
  • McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Lemon juice
  • Oregano

It turned out as delicious as I figured it would.

The Mashed potatoes from Costco saved me one more step in creating a relatively quick and easy meal for my crew!

Ok guys, so I’ve decided to start something completely new, somewhat scary, and exciting for me – a totally unscripted, kitchen experimentation!

This is how I learned how to cook – through many failures in my early days to many successes later in life. I had to Burn lots of Rice and create plenty of “Disasters” ( opposite of Masterpieces, LOL)!

Every couple of years I kind of hit the break and try to change the direction I’m going to. If I wait for the perfect time to make videos, the perfect hairdo, the perfect nail color – it’s not going to happen. We all have busy lives and have other things to do besides cooking. As much as I enjoy it, I have other responsibilities and hobbies.

My Mom or Grandma never taught me how to cook, but hunger forced me to learn!

Every “Chef” makes mistakes!!!

You Can’t learn without Failing!

My Food doesn’t always come out Good (here admitting….feel better..). But, I’m a Frankenstein in the kitchen – I will give the Food a Second Chance at Life before disposing of!

I learn from my mistakes and Don’t Get Upset when Fail, I know it is part of Learning!

So come along with me on cooking adventures and hopefully we will create something Tasty!

Unfortunately, when you put yourself out there you invite positive as well as negative comments – the nature of the beast, so to speak! It’s the ugly side of food blogging that is so frequently discussed in blogging groups. None of us is immune to mean and insensitive comments, unfortunately.

“This is not how you cook” – good for you, but that’s how I cook!

Costco mashed potatoes were the first time that I’ve decided to try and we loved them. On those lazy or sick days that we all get sometimes – this is Perfect! Costco has saved me a lot of time and headaches over the years. Quality and selection are superb!

I hope you will give this recipe a try!
